Hannah Lalhlanpuii

Author, India

Hannah Lalhlanpuii is a writer from Aizawl, Mizoram and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Mizoram Christian College. She has a Ph.D in English from Mizoram University. Her areas of interest include North East literature, trauma writing and children’s literature. Her short story titled A Bird Called Freedom was published in the anthology Big Mistakes: An Anthology of Growing Up and Other Tough Stuffs. Her poems were included in Lockdown Literature from Mizoram. She has also published historical fiction titled When Blackbirds Fly. She manages a self- initiated NGO JT Book Project which aims at creating reading awareness among young learners and setting up libraries for schools in remote areas in Mizoram.
